First Meet Coming Soon

The 2019 Lady Chariots XC Team will be back in action soon, with Team practices beginning on Monday, August 12th, and the first competition soon to follow on Friday, August 16th.  The first Meet of the season will be the St. John's "Under The Lights" Invitational.  This unique Meet is run after sundown, with races beginning about 9pm at St. Johns High School.

The Chariots are the defending MIHS (Homeschool) State Champions, and only graduated one Senior runner who ran in the top seven last season.  The top returners will be Senior Co-Captain Sophia Shoemaker, Juniors Joy Kogut, Natalie Minnaar, and Rachel NImtz, and Sophomores Karen Nimtz, Emily Spencer and Libby Vanderwey.  Also competing for spots in the Varsity top 7 will be some quality incoming Freshmen including Lily Kogut, Alivia DeMass, and Maggie Spencer.

Last season marked the 7th consecutive time the Lady Chariots have won the MIHS (Homeschool) State Championship Meet, having not lost since the Meet began in 2012.  This year's squad will aim to defend that Championship and carry on the great tradition of CHAP Varsity Girls XC!
