OPEN SOCCER TRAINING

For Homeschoolers and GLCC Players 

Who:               Jr. High to High School Age players.

[You are welcome to join us even if you have never played or have not played in several years.  Maybe you have no intention of playing with a team this fall.  Perhaps you play another sport in the fall, but you want to kick around some this spring.  That’s great!!]

When:             Mondays and Wednesdays 3:30-5:30 Beginning April 19^th

^{[WE ARE HOLDING THIS OPEN TRAINING AT THE SAME TIME AND PLACE THAT THE CHAP VARSITY/JV GIRLS AND THE LAHAA JUNIOR HIGH AYSO TEAMS ARE TRAINING FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF FAMILIES WHO HAVE CHILDREN ON MORE THAN ONE OF THESE TEAMS.]}

Where:          Great Lakes Christian College [corner of Creyts and Willow roads]

^{[WE WILL GENERALLY TRAIN AT THE UPPER FIELD.  IF YOU DO NOT FIND US THERE, LOOK FOR US AT THE LOWER FIELD.]}

Equipment:  Bring a soccer ball if you have one.  Wear usual soccer gear.

Our objectives will be to assist participants to improve their skills, to develop their tactical understanding, and to practice the application of these in small-sided games, which will consume the bulk of out time.  So, if you want to get a head start for your fall season, want to give soccer a try, or just want to kick around, come along.
